Install ReviewRay
ReviewRay is a Chrome extension for a computer. It is coming to the Chrome Web Store, and it is not there yet. Write to support@reviewray.pro, and we will tell you when you can add it to Chrome.
When ReviewRay is in the store
You add ReviewRay to Chrome from the Chrome Web Store. Then you enter your license key, once on each computer.
Chrome then updates the extension by itself.
What you need
- Chrome 116 or newer on a computer
- The ReviewRay extension runs in Chrome on a computer.
- A license key
- To run an audit you need a license key: see the price.
- Google Maps at www.google.com/maps
- Open the business there. ReviewRay audits a business listing: the address of its page contains /maps/place/.
- A Google account you are signed in to
- Sign in to Google first: when you are signed out, Google Maps may show fewer reviews. ReviewRay never signs in for you.
- A Google Maps tab that stays visible
- Keep the tab visible until the report opens. During the audit, a small window opens for the reviewers’ public profiles and a Google Search page about the business, and closes by itself.
The limits of a license key
- 100 audits a month
- An audit counts when its report was built. An audit you cancel does not use up one of your 100 audits. The count starts again on the first day of each month (UTC).
- 3 devices for one key
- A device is one copy of ReviewRay, such as the extension in one Chrome profile. In the popup you can free a device yourself, 2 times in 30 days. A device that was not used for 90 days no longer counts.
- One audit at a time
- With one key, one audit runs at a time.
- 30 audit starts an hour
- With one key, you can start at most 30 audits in an hour.
- 300 audit starts a month
- An account can start at most 300 audits in a month: 3 times the audits of its plan. An audit you cancel counts as a start, in the hour and in the month.
- Up to 25 negative reviews in a report
- An audit reads at most 60 reviewer profiles: one at a time, at least 1 second apart.
