Terms

These terms apply when you use ReviewRay: the Chrome extension, the audit service, and the reports it builds.

Last updated: November 2, 2026

Who we are

ReviewRay is offered by Torsten Mohr, Im Gillesbachtal 54, 52066 Aachen, Germany (“we”). You reach us at support@reviewray.pro.

For professional use

ReviewRay is made for agencies, freelancers, and other professionals. We offer it for use in a trade, a business, or a profession. It is not meant for private use as a consumer.

What a plan includes

  • a license key for the ReviewRay extension and the audit service;
  • 100 audits a month: an audit counts when its report was built, and the count starts again on the first day of each month (UTC);
  • your key on up to 3 devices;
  • reports in 5 languages, with your own name and logo.

The report page stays online for up to 30 minutes. Then we delete it. Download the PDF if you want to keep the report: we keep no copy.

The extension runs in Chrome 116 or newer on a computer. How to install it, and what else you need, is on the install page.

Price and payment

A plan costs $7.99 a month, or $69 a year. Prices are in US dollars. No VAT is added to these prices (§ 19 UStG, the German small-business rule).

ReviewRay is not on sale yet. It is coming to the Chrome Web Store.

Limits

A license key has these limits:

  • one audit at a time;
  • at most 30 audit starts in an hour;
  • at most 300 audit starts in a month for an account: 3 times the audits of the plan. An audit you cancel counts as a start;
  • up to 25 negative reviews in a report, and at most 60 reviewer profiles read in an audit;
  • ReviewRay audits business listings on Google Maps, and nothing else.

The details are on the install page.

Google Maps, and your part

ReviewRay reads Google Maps in your own browser, where you are signed in to your own Google account. It never signs in for you, and our server never contacts Google.

When you use Google Maps, Google’s own terms apply to you. You are responsible for following them, and for how you use a report.

ReviewRay is an independent tool. It is not made by Google and not connected with Google.

What ReviewRay does not promise

A report shows figures that ReviewRay read on Google Maps on the day of the audit, and figures it calculated from them. The estimated revenue leak is an estimate, not a measured figure.

We promise no result: not that a business becomes your customer, and not that a rating changes.

An audit can list fewer reviews than you asked for, for example when a reviewer’s profile is private, or when Google shows a CAPTCHA.

If Google changes its pages

ReviewRay depends on what Google Maps shows. Google can change its pages at any time. It can also stop showing how often a review was viewed.

If that happens, an audit can fail, or its report can have no negative reviews in its table. If Google stops showing the view count for good, ReviewRay can no longer report it.

Your data

What ReviewRay does with data is described on the privacy page.

The law that applies

German law applies to these terms, and to the contract between you and us.
